Promote Your Event
The TV screens in the Memorial Union are available for advertising campus events that are sponsored by OSU Departments or recognized student organizations and clubs.
Advertising Guidelines
- Digital ad spaces are free.
- Only OSU departments and recognized student organizations may reserve ad spaces.
- All ad reservations can be made for a maximum of 2 weeks or less.
- Only one ad space can be reserved at a time.
- Any content displayed in a language other than English requires an English language translation.
- All event advertisements must include a statement describing how to request accessibility accommodations.
- Email contact info on advertisements must be an @oregonstate.edu email.
- Materials must not be misleading, fraudulent, or promoting an illegal activity. Advertising that has not been authorized under this policy may be immediately removed.
ASOSU Election Campaign Advertising
- Content will only be accepted from verifiable officially registered candidates.
- Requirements for OSU Branding will be waived.
- All other guidelines apply as usual.

The MU also has designated spaces to hang fliers or small posters. Printed material is required to include an OSU logo, an @oregonstate.edu email, and an accommodation statement. Printed filers can be dropped off at the MU Info Desk.
MU Creative Studio
Do you need help designing your event promotion?
The MU Creative Studio produces over 600 projects per year for both annual retainer clients as well as on-demand work requests by OSU departments across campus.
This is your opportunity to work with student designers before they graduate to careers with agencies and brands such as Nike, Adobe, and Facebook.

Reserve Your TV Display Ad
Please send an email at least 1 week before your desired start date, along with the attached image or video file, and the dates you would like the ad to be displayed.
Horizontal ads can be reserved for up to two weeks.
Horizontal TV Display Advertising
The Memorial Union has 8 TV displays hung up around the building. These are referred to as Horizontal TV Displays, to distinguish them from the Vertical TV Displays that stand in front of the MU Lounge.
Horizontal TV Display Advertising Specs
- Slides must be sized at 1920x1080 pixels in a landscape orientation.
- Slides must be in RGB color format, saved as .jpeg, .jpg, or .png files.
- Slides rotate through at 10 second intervals, showing about once every few minutes.
- Videos that are 10 seconds or less and do not have sound can also be run on the screens. Video files must be in a .mp4 format.
- All advertising guidelines listed at the top of this page must be followed.
Horizontal TV Display in the Student Experience Center (SEC)
In addition to a variety of screens in the Memorial Union, your horizontal image that you submit for advertising in the MU will also be displayed in the SEC lobby. No additional work is necessary to include the SEC in your reservation.
Vertical TV Display Advertising
The Memorial Union has 2 standing displays on either side of the MU Lounge. These are referred to as Vertical TV Displays, to distinguish them from the Horizontal TV Displays hung up around the building.
Vertical TV Display Advertising Specs
- Slides must be sized at 1080x1920 pixels in a portrait orientation.
- Slides must be in RGB color format, saved as .jpeg, .jpg, or .png files.
- All advertising guidelines listed at the top of this page must be followed.
Vertical Aspect Ratio
The portrait orientation will require a redesign of your horizontally-oriented event graphics.
We will not accept standard horizontal graphics to fit onto the vertical screens.
