Student Vendor Information
New this year! The West Ballroom, adjacent to the Main Ballroom, will be set aside for student vendors.
Things to know:
- Holiday MarketPlace will be from 10-5:30 on Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7.
- All items sold should be the work of the student.
- Students are encouraged to be present throughout the event. But, we know that you may have classes, and can accommodate it.
- There is no booth fee for student vendors, but there will be a 10% commission charged upon payment by the MU to the vendor.
- Sales for student vendors will go through the Memorial Union Gallery which will have a staff person present throughout to handle sales, with student vendors paid through OSU. This could take a few weeks ***
- Vendor set up is on Thursday, December 5, and tear down is after it closes at 5:30 on Saturday, December 7.
- Displays need to be up throughout the event, please contact Ange event manager if this is an issue.
*** we wish there was a way to get you paid immediately, but doing it this way allows students to fall under the MU Gallery's insurance instead of having to purchase it themselves.
